The 24th Annual John C. Herklotz SHORTSTOP Golf Classic held at Strawberry Farms Golf Club on September 25 raised over $64,000 for Project Youth OCBF education, health and diversion programs. Team Robinson Calcagnie took first place in this year’s golf tournament.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Project Youth OCBF’s annual golf tournament was rated a huge success. Due to restrictions imposed by the pandemic, this year’s tournament was a modified version of how the event has run in past years, including lesser number of teams and contactless check-in. Additional modifications such as masks in the common area, health screening, boxed lunches and no dinner offered were made for the safety of players and volunteers. It was a beautiful California day which everyone enjoyed outside with golf and friends – a win-win for everyone!
