PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Assists at-risk, transition-aged youth ages 16 and older in identifying their career interests and completing career training at a designated 4- year University, trade school, technical institute, or community college program.
Mandatory workshops that highlight different educational pathways and teach important life skills. Internship placement opportunities at Law firms. Internship placement recruitment begins every Spring and is not guaranteed.
Throughout the program, intensive case management services are provided to assist youth in overcoming barriers and achieving their goal of financial independence. Our hope is that by participating in the program, participating youth will be placed in promising career paths that will lead to a brighter future.

Criteria:

  • Orange County youth aged 16 and older
  • Successfully completed a program at PYOC or been directly referred to PROJECT SELF
  • Committed to all aspects of the program.
